Meet Owner and Therapist
Dr. Bianca Roe
Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) · Registered Dietitian (RDN) · International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) · Parent
My journey into pediatric care began long before I held any degrees, back when I was a teenage babysitter and nanny, captivated by the joy, curiosity, and connection that comes with caring for children. I always loved how naturally positive and playful the world of pediatrics felt. That early love of working with kids eventually led me into the clinical space, where I found a calling in helping families navigate feeding, development, and the many complex pieces of early childhood.
I started as a pediatric dietitian, working with children with complex medical needs, from managing tube feeds and modifying diets for metabolic and GI disorders, to supporting families navigating food allergies and sensitivities. It was in this role that I had the privilege of learning alongside Marsha Dunn Klein, OTR/L, MEd, FAOTA, a pioneer in child-responsive feeding therapy and creator of the Get Permission Approach. Her passion and warmth sparked something in me that continues to guide my work today. That inspiration led me to pursue my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy so I could more fully support children’s sensory, motor, and emotional development, especially around feeding and mealtime.
Later, during my doctoral capstone, I received mentorship from Dr. Kay A. Toomey, PhD, pediatric psychologist and developer of the SOS Approach to Feeding. She supported my work to create resources that help feeding clinicians understand the roles, scope, and value of both dietitians and occupational therapists on an interdisciplinary feeding team. During this time, I completed the SOS Basic and all Advanced Courses, learning directly from the engaging in person training by Dr. Toomey and her skilled team of instructors.
I love the incredible progress that happens when a child begins to feel more confident in themselves, the joy when new milestones are achieved, and when families feel seen and supported. Now, as an OT, registered dietitian, and lactation consultant, I offer families a truly integrative approach to early development. I specialize in feeding challenges, motor delays, tube weaning, food allergies/sensitivites, and supporting infants with tethered oral tissues such as tongue and lip ties. I love collaborating with pediatric dentists and ENTs to try supportive bodywork and oral motor strategies before considering surgical release, and I’m especially passionate about protecting and supporting the breastfeeding/chestfeeding relationship wherever possible.
Above all, I’m a parent too, and I understand how overwhelming it can feel to advocate for your child’s needs. My goal is to meet families with compassion, clarity, and evidence-based care. Whether we’re working toward milestones, managing complex feeding needs, or just trying to make mealtime feel a little less stressful, I’m here to help you and your child grow with confidence.

Dr Jessica Tarence, DPT
Jessica is a warm-hearted pediatric physical therapist whose gentle spirit and thoughtful clinical expertise make children feel instantly at ease. She believes deeply in the potential of every child and approaches therapy with curiosity, creativity, and a genuine joy for helping little ones discover what their bodies can do.
Jessica earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Arcadia University, where she built a strong foundation. Over the years, she has dedicated her work to supporting infants and children through motor delays, torticollis and plagiocephaly, gait challenges, coordination concerns, and developmental differences. She has a special interest in early intervention and loves meeting families right where they are, whether that’s on the floor, in a play space, or during a cozy routine at home.
What families appreciate most about Jessica is her calming presence and her intuitive ability to connect with children in a way that feels playful yet purposeful. She blends evidence-based practice with a lighthearted, child-led style that keeps sessions engaging and encouraging. Whether she’s helping a baby explore tummy time or guiding a toddler through new movement patterns, she celebrates each step forward, no matter how small, and ensures that therapy feels uplifting and accessible.
Jessica continues to grow her clinical knowledge through ongoing professional development, staying curious and connected to best practices in pediatric physical therapy. To her, the most rewarding part of the work is witnessing a child’s joy when movement becomes a little easier, a little stronger, or a little more fun.
Outside of her clinical work, Jessica has a loving husband and dog she enjoys adventuring with!
